Kara Fawn Parker was born in a sleepy little town, everyone knew everyone and helped out. Everyday was like the before. When she was a young child Kara was usually found in the fields with her friends playing hide and seek. She was the seeker because she was a lycan ad had the ability to smell better. They ran and played till sunset. All the kids where home before sunset.

But one night at the age is 9 Kara stayed out later helping a friend back who twisted his ankle. On her way home she was grabbed by her waist as a cloth went over her mouth and everything went black

She awoke with a collar around her neck and in a cage. She soon found out she was a slave action and was soon bought. She was to clean and cook and entertain her master. She was a good little slave and her master was one of the kinder ones, he never hurt her or even rose his voice to her, he only rose his voice if he was telling a story because he got excited. He even aught her different things like magic tricks. She served him until she as 11 when he died. She was taken by his brother who was cold and cruel. He punished her by whipping her or cutting her, even going so far as to rape her if she rebelled so it happened only two or three times, but she tried to block that out of her mind. When she was 17 bounty hunters came and killed him taking Kara's collar off her and brought them as the rode out of town. Giving her a dress and a basket they dropped her off in the realm of Storybrooke and told her to start a life.
